The GMAT Focus Edition introduces a shorter, more relevant, and efficient format designed for modern business school applicants.
Test Structure
Total Duration: 2 hours 15 minutes
Sections & Time
Quantitative Reasoning (45 minutes): Problem-solving, Data interpretation (no geometry, no calculator)
Verbal Reasoning (45 minutes): Reading comprehension, Critical reasoning
Data Insights (45 minutes): Combines data interpretation, logic puzzles, integrated reasoning
Additional Notes:
The essay section has been removed in the Focus Edition
Candidates can now choose section order and review questions before submission
Scores remain valid for 5 years
Scoring System
Scores range from 205–805 in 10-point increments.
