SAT Format & Syllabus (2024 Digital SAT Update)
Since 2023, the SAT has become a fully digital test, offering a streamlined and adaptive experience. The test is further divided into two subsections.
Reading & Writing (64 minutes)
this section is structured as such:
- Short Reading passages followed by a single multiple choice question.
Especially focusing on comprehension, grammar, and logical structure.
Ultimately, all questions are presented from one of the following domains- Craft and Structure, Information and Ideas, Standard English Conventions, and Expression of Ideas.
Mathematics (70 minutes)
The Mathematics sections follows the given syllabus:
- Algebra, Advanced Math, Data Analysis, Geometry
The aforementioned syllabus includes MCQs as well as student-produced responses. Additionally a Calculator is allowed throughout.
