What is TestAS?
TestAS (Test for Academic Studies) is a standardized aptitude test designed for international students applying to undergraduate degree programs in Germany. It evaluates the cognitive and subject-specific skills needed for successful university studies and is accepted by a growing number of public and private universities across Germany.
TestAS helps universities fairly assess applicants from non-EU countries, especially those coming from education systems like CBSE, ISC, IGCSE, or other national boards, and is often used to supplement school transcripts or compensate for missing Abitur-equivalent credentials.

TestAS Format
TestAS is offered in paper-based and digital formats (TestAS Digital). You can take the test in English or German. The test includes both general and subject-specific modules.

Core Test (General Skills) – ~110 minutes
